Silverdale Estates is a beautiful and friendly community with almost non-stop activities. There are pinochle games on Monday and Wednesday mornings, ladies aerobes (The Aqua Belles) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Yoga class meets on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Cribbage on Wednesday afternoons and men's poker on Thursday afternoon. Sometimes the winner will leave with 75 cents more than he came with. The Clubhouse opens at 6am for the early risers and swimmers. There is always coffee and plenty of conversation. People drop in to visit all morning. Many times we are asked if there is a party going on when it is just the morning drop ins exchanging stories, recipes and sports scores.The ladies sewing and craft group meets once a month and there is Bunko two nights a month. These are some of the regular activities.

There are also Special Events such as BBQs, Potluck's, all you can eat Breakfast, Valentine, St Patrick, Christmas and New Year dances. You will never wonder what to do if you are bored. There are two pool tables, a sport court and, playground as well as the beautiful swimming pool.

Silverdale Estates often has speakers from local organizations such as the new administrator of Harrison Memorial Hospital or Politicians relating their platforms and listening to concerns from residents. This facility is also close to hospitals and doctors offices as well as Olympic College if you want to learn a new language or find out what is going on in politics. Kitsap Mall and surrounding shops have everything that you could want in range and selection. There are lots of great restraints. The grocery store is only a short distance for that forgotten quart of milk. You feel like you are in the country but everything you want or need is just around the corner.
